Featuring inspiring talks, panel discussions, product reveals and showcases, Einride Mesh is the intelligent movement meetup where innovation and culture collide. The 2022 event – hosted in Gothenburg, Sweden, on May 19 and streamed globally – brought together a range of “intelligent movers” from across various fields.

Guest speakers included the speed skater and Olympic gold medalist Nils van der Poel, the renowned architect Catherine Huang, the inventor and author Saul Griffith, and the documentary filmmaker Alice Aedy.

The event also brought together four tech leaders whose companies focus on different modes of electric transport. Joining the discussion – moderated by Einride’s founder and CEO Robert Falck – were Jenny Kaisu, the CEO of electric boat maker X Shore; Stefan Ytterborn, the founder and CEO of CAKE, which produces lightweight electric motorcycles; and Anders Forslund, the CEO of Heart Aerospace, which aims to electrify short-haul aviation. These were four unique perspectives coming together to debate innovative ideas and expand upon the notion of intelligent movement.

“Our goal with the inaugural Einride Mesh was simple: create a platform for thought leaders to come together and share how we can create a better future, regardless of what industry we sit in,” said Linnéa Kornehead, co-founder and CMO of Einride. “To see leaders, students, investors and culture influencers gathered together is a true testament to the impact that is possible for creating sustainable futures when wider audiences collaborate together.”

Being a celebration of movement in the right direction, Mesh officially revealed new Einride products. Robert Falck announced the forthcoming Einride Trailer, describing it as the most intelligent trailer to date. The launch also marks an important step forward for intelligent, sustainable shipping with this new trailer depicting one of the most significant technological updates to the model since its inception almost 100 years ago.

Linnéa Kornehed followed with a highly anticipated progress update on Einride’s freight mobility platform Einride Saga. Each feature was explained at length by Chief Software Architect, Oscar Söderlund, and Einride’s CPO, Ellen Kugelberg. Mesh also announced additional Einride Saga apps as well as an all-new API platform that will be available to developers.

Einride Mesh was a reminder that intelligent movement is about much more than electric and autonomous technology. It’s about thinking boldly, defying boundaries, and building bridges to a better tomorrow.
