June 21, 2023 – Einride, a freight mobility company that provides digital, electric and autonomous technology, announced today the appointment of Henrik Green as the new General Manager, Autonomous Technologies. Green brings over 25 years’ experience working in the product, technology and sustainability sector within mobility, having held roles such as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer at Volvo Cars.
In this new role, he’ll be responsible for spearheading Einride's efforts in the development and deployment of technologies that will reshape the way goods are moved globally. This will include leading the autonomous technology teams across the various offices of Einride.

During his close to three decades at Volvo Cars, Green played a pivotal role in the transformation of the company's product portfolio and technological advancements, ultimately positioning Volvo Cars as one of the frontrunners in the automotive industry’s transition to electric. Serving most recently as the Head of Advanced Technology and Sustainability, he was instrumental in driving the development and strategy of electrified vehicles and autonomous technology. Green also previously held the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer positions at Volvo Cars, along with a range of other strategy, research and product roles.
