At Einride Mesh, Sven will discuss how sustainable freight can improve life in urban environments, particularly for certain communities who are disproportionately affected by air and noise pollution. He will also share REWE’s experience with electric shipping in Berlin.
In 2023, we have a lot of available technology that provides the possibility for people to drive change. This is already happening but in order to keep the momentum going, the technology must convince more people to make the change happen.
To me, intelligence means to rethink ways of doing things and to find better solutions for how to manage scarce resources. This is key in order to find a path forward for a better tomorrow.
The need for freight transport continues to rise, especially in urban areas. With electric transport, we are able to meet these demands while reducing emissions and noise pollution. As a result, we increase the quality of life for the people living in urban areas.
